“Business Project” is a research programme initiated in 2012, which quantifies the value of Italian business presence in the countries of the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean, with the aim of providing enterprises and financial operators with a useful operational tool to be informed on the opportunities open to Italian companies in these countries, as well as on their characteristics, strategies, and results. Our reports combine the analysis of official data with field research, offering insights and information that are often difficult to obtain, as well as interesting case studies from which to draw inspiration. Also, the performances and prospects of the companies covered are compared to those of the main European trade partners of each of the Med Countries considered. Since 2015 the “Business Project” has included two new features: 1) it has been extended to the relations with the Gulf countries; 2) the analysis also covers aspects concerning infrastructures and Maritime Economy.
